A Story They Solve, Delivered by Mail
It arrives in the mail, one delivery at a time, and it does not move forward until
your child cracks the code. No app. No screen. Just a case worth solving.
First case ships this holiday. Waitlist members get first access.
The story only moves when they solve it
Your carrier reads, hits a coded message, and the story stops. It does not go anywhere until they crack it. Solve the code, and the next piece opens up. That loop, read, decode, unlock, is the whole experience, and it is why they stay with it. Not a book they are read to, not a puzzle pack with no story. A real case that only moves when they do the work.
It'snot a book. It's a mission.
From the makers of The Last correspondence, built for younger carriers.
Meet The Wayward Post
The Wayward Post is a secret mail service that recovers the mail the ordinary
system gave up on, and it only recruits those who can crack the codes. Your
child becomes its newest carrier.
The series begins with Case No. 001: The Last Light at Port Marrow, a coded letter
lost at sea in 1954 and a delivery that is seventy-two years late. More cases
follow, each a complete story with its own code to break.
Two ways to become a carrier
-
The Carrier's Club
The story mailed one delivery at a time. Each envelope is addressed to your carrier, and the case builds across real mail. For the carrier who lights up when something arrives just for them.
-
The Case Box
The full case in one box. Every code, the reusable decoder, the map, and the artifacts, ready to solve start to finish. Made to gift.
Pick how the story arrives. Both are the complete case, both come with the reusable
decoder, and both make them the newest carrier of The Wayward Post.
Same story, same ending. Choose the one that fits your carrier.
Why parents love it
• Screen-free from start to finish
• Turns reading into the reward, not the chore, which is a win with reluctant readers
• Real logic and problem-solving, disguised as an adventure
• Built for curious carriers roughly ages 8 to 12; younger ones can carry alongside a grown-up
• Re-readable and worth keeping, not a one-and-done gift
The codes, and why they matter
Each case teaches one code system, then has them use it to solve message after
message, ending in a final code that ties everything together. The codes are
the way into the story, not a stack of brain teasers. Solve them, and the
delivery gets made.
Be first in line
The first series ships this holiday, and the waitlist gets first access. Add your
name and we will tell you the moment your carrier can report for duty.
The waitlist lets you claim either format first.
Questions from grown-ups
What age is this for?
It is built for curious carriers roughly 8 to 12. Younger ones love it too when a grown-up carries alongside them, and confident readers can run it solo.
Is it really screen-free?
Completely. Everything your carrier needs is in the box: letters, a decoder, a map, and artifacts. No app, no login, no screen.
Is it a book, a puzzle, or a subscription?
It is a story they solve. It arrives by mail and does not move forward until they crack the codes. You can get a case as one box or as the Carrier's Club mailed series.
Is it a series?
Yes. It begins with Case No. 001 and more cases follow, each a complete story with its own code.
Can I get it as one box or as mail?
Both, and it is your call. The Case Box delivers the whole story at once. The
Carrier's Club mails it one delivery at a time. Same story, same decoder, same ending.
When does it ship?
The first series ships this holiday season. Join the waitlist for first access and shipping updates.
It starts in the mailbox
